Fundraising Dear Resident of Montgomery
Township Fire District No. 1:
We are the dedicated Volunteers of Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire

to you and our community. We respond to over 250 incidents every year
including:
• House fires
• Motor vehicle accidents including the Jaws of Life
• Field and brush fires
• Aviation accidents
• Fire and carbon monoxide alarms
• Water rescues
• Bomb Scares
• Hazardous materials operations.

All 40 members of your Fire department are Volunteers who donate their
time and energy and who are committed to providing you with outstanding
fire and emergency services. Each member donates an average of 350 hours
of time each year. As a Fire Company, we donate over 14,000 hours protecting
and supporting our community. In addition to firefighting, we participate
in a number of community programs including:
• Fire prevention education in the elementary
schools.
• The 5th grade D.A.R.E. program.
• The state sponsored “Fire Watch” program which counsels
troubled youth.
• National Night Out.
We are here 24 hours everyday to protect you, your family, and your property.
We would be most grateful if you would consider supporting our activities.
