Matching Gifts: Many employers have a matching gift program for non-profits their employees support with donations. This can double or triple your contribution by designating the Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire Company No 1 Foundation, Inc. (Tax ID 92-0558926) as the recipient of the matching funds. You may also obtain a matching gift form from work and include it with your contribution. Every year the MTVFC1 receives donations in the form of corporate matching gifts. We are the dedicated Volunteers of Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire Company # 1 - Station 45 who provide a wide array of services to you and our community. We respond to over 250 incidents every year including:
• House fires
• Motor vehicle accidents
• Field and brush fires
• Aviation accidents
• Fire and carbon monoxide alarms
• Water rescues
• Bomb threats
• Hazardous materials operations.
All members of this Fire Department are Volunteers who donate their time and energy and who are committed to providing you with outstanding fire and emergency services. Each member donates an average of 350 hours of time each year. As a Fire Department, we donate over 14,000 hours annually protecting and supporting our community. In addition to firefighting, we participate in a number of community programs including:
• Fire prevention education in the elementary schools
• Every 15 Minutes at Montgomery High School
• Fire Department Open House in conjunction with Station 46

The Fire Company does maintain a Memorial Fund for donations given in memory of someone. The proceeds from this fund will be used for charitable purposes.
The Fire Company does in some instances accept Vehicle Donations to be used for training purposes. For more information regarding donating an obsolete vehicle, please contact us.
